Building upon the momentum from last year, we focused on curating a team to drive more content. We worked with a team of three social media interns, talent, a videographer, and several of Penn Relays’ photographers. To produce high-quality content, this was essential to our success.

COVER + SOCIAL MEDIA

After a two-year hiatus, The Penn Relays Carnival, presented by Toyota, returned, and there was much celebrating. In this issue, Penn highlighted its new sponsors On, 60 Years of Jamaican Independence, and HBCU Excellence, to name some significant features. I created the Program Cover and developed the Program Design alongside Rich Sands and Dipen Shah.

Goal: Build awareness of Penn Relays Instagram and focus content around fan experience. 

I was the lead strategist, producer, and manager for the three-day event for the Penn Relays social media accounts. My primary focus was its Instagram and driving traffic to its website. With our team, we increased the awareness of all their social media accounts and website results by utilizing this new strategy for the Penn Relays Carnival. 

We increased our following on Instagram by 11% throughout the three-day event.

Penn Relays sold approximately 3,000 programs over the weekend
